Unique Trip: Staking Mineral Rights in Utah

After the oil commodity sell off a decade ago, some friends and I almost bought three oil wells in financing trouble. This caused me to research mineral rights in depth as a cheap long option. With a 40 year time horizon, I figured the world will need more titanium (space, $4.2k/ton) and uranium (clean energy, $19.73/lb). So I procured old geological map surveys from bankrupted miners, and spent two months in the desert wilderness where I staked titanium and uraniums deposits and registered them in Salt Lake.
